Terms and Conditions
Status: January 2025
§ 1 Scope
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all contracts between Anastasia Stancke, Sierichstraße 36, 22301 Hamburg (hereinafter "Provider") and the customer (hereinafter "Buyer") concerning the provision of prayer services via the website payforpray.world.
Deviating conditions of the Buyer do not apply unless the Provider expressly agrees to their validity in writing.
§ 2 Subject Matter of the Contract
The subject matter of the contract is the personal provision of spiritual prayer services by the Provider. The Provider undertakes to pray for the Buyer or the person named by the Buyer — within the agreed period, personally and sincerely.
The offer includes the following services:
- One-time Prayer (€3.00): A personal prayer on one day
- 3 Days of Accompaniment (€7.90): Daily prayer over 3 days
- 7 Days of Accompaniment (€14.90): Daily prayer over 7 days including a concluding prayer
- 40 Days of Accompaniment (€59.90): Daily prayer over 40 days including weekly confirmation, concluding prayer, and prayer certificate
- Prayer as PDF (+€5.90): The prayer as a designed document
- Prayer as Audio (+€7.90): The prayer as an MP3 recording
§ 3 Conclusion of Contract
The presentation of services on the website does not constitute a legally binding offer, but an invitation to place an order. By completing the order process and clicking "Buy Now", the Buyer submits a binding offer. The contract is concluded when the Provider confirms the order by email.
§ 4 Prices and Payment
All stated prices are final prices in Euros. According to § 19 UStG, no sales tax is charged (small business regulation).
Payment is made via the payment methods offered on the website (credit card, PayPal, etc.) through the payment service provider Shopify Payments. Payment is due immediately upon order.
§ 5 Provision of Services
The service begins within 24 hours of receipt of payment. The Buyer will receive a confirmation email when the Provider has started praying.
For packages spanning multiple days, the count begins on the day of the first confirmation email.
§ 6 Spiritual Service — Note
PayForPray provides a spiritual accompaniment service. The Provider undertakes to sincerely and personally perform the prayers. However, no specific effects, healings, or results are expressly guaranteed or promised. The service does not replace medical, psychological, or legal advice.
§ 7 Right of Withdrawal for Digital Content
For digital content (PDF, audio), the right of withdrawal expires as soon as the Buyer has expressly agreed that the performance begins before the expiry of the withdrawal period and has confirmed their knowledge that they thereby lose their right of withdrawal. See separate withdrawal policy for details.
For ongoing prayer services: Since this is a highly personal service that has already begun (at the express request of the Buyer within the withdrawal period), a withdrawal after the start of the service provision is excluded.
§ 8 Warranty and Liability
The Provider is not liable for the occurrence of specific spiritual effects or results. The Provider's liability for slightly negligent breaches of duty is excluded, unless these concern essential contractual obligations or damages resulting from injury to life, limb, or health.
§ 9 Confidentiality of the Request
The Provider undertakes to treat the request communicated by the Buyer as strictly confidential and to use it exclusively for the provision of the prayer service.
§ 10 Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this contractual relationship is Hamburg, provided that the Buyer is a merchant, a legal entity under public law, or a special fund under public law.
§ 11 Severability Clause
Should any provision of these GTC be invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The invalid provision shall be deemed to be replaced by a valid provision that comes closest to the economic purpose of the invalid provision.
